Dr. Colette Vossler-Welch is a licensed and certified Doctor of Audiology who graduated from the Graduate Center, a part of the City Universities of New York. Her audiology background includes hearing instrument fittings, balance testing, tinnitus treatment, pediatric testing and aural rehabilitation. She is bilingual, with American Sign Language as her second language. 

She grew up with profound hearing loss and has worn a hearing instrument since the age of 7.  Dr. Vossler-Welch is incredibly passionate about the technology that helps us stay connected to others and strives to help others hear their best. She knew she wanted to become a doctor of audiology shortly after breaking her own hearing aid 20 years ago.  While interviewing for a very different job, she had been unable to understand him without her hearing aid. The interviewer was impressed by Dr. Vossler-Welch’s fearless attitude and had still hired her even though she had shown up without a way to communicate with him. That summer, 16 years ago, she ran her first business painting houses.

Upon completing the summer, she was back in school while working part-time as an audiology assistant. During her tenure with this practice, she published many articles as an undergraduate student with her previous employer, now colleague. She was awarded the Robert W. Young award for her research in acoustics. Her findings were presented at the national Audiology conference, where she won “Best in Undergraduate Research.” Her strong foundation helps her tackle your hearing difficulties, as well as other abnormal hearing, balance or tinnitus-related issues.

Dr. Vossler-Welch grew up in Coos Bay, Oregon. She moved to Eugene in 2020 with her husband, Colin, and son, Fenix.  She is active outdoors and loves to camp and hike. Her family has traveled to the Lava Beds on and off during the Christmas holidays to explore the temperature-controlled caves. As a family, they have found this to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this holiday in nature.
